Town Music: Joshua Roman in Recital
Over the past two years, Roman has regularly toured (and recorded) in Japan, and Town Hall is proud to present him to Seattle audiences with his extraordinary partners Eri Hayashi, considered among the country's finest accompanists, and Hisaya Dogin, a cellist with the prestigious NHK Orchestra. This program of rarely heard works includes Handel's Trio Sonata for two Cellos and Continuo Op 2 No. 8 in G Minor, Gian Carlo Menotti's Suite for Two Cellos and Piano, Beethoven's Fourth Cello Sonata in C major, Op 102, No. 1, and Strauss' Cello Sonata in F major, Op. 6.
