Our conference will directly address the challenges that most men face in their daily lives and in their Christian journeys. This conference will inspire men to rise above the challenges we face as fathers and husbands and to become agents of change in our community.
FEATURED KEYNOTE SPEAKERS:
DR. ROBERT LEWIS, founded and developed Men's Fraternity in 1990, and today this significant area of ministry is reaching men worldwide in churches, on college campuses, in corporate boardrooms, and in prison cellblocks via his three one-year video curriculum Quest for Authentic Manhood; Winning at Work and Home; and The Great Adventure. Dr. Lewis is also the author of the book Raising a Modern Day Knight and the creator of the new 33 The Series video curriculum.
DARRYL STRAWBERRY, remains one of the most celebrated players in the history of baseball. An eight-time All Star, four-time World Series Champion, and National League Rookie of the Year, he played for the Mets, Dodgers, Giants, and Yankees during his headlining career. His personal story of suffering and pain derives from the severe abuse that he suffered at the hand of a raging alcoholic father. After years of recovery from his own drug abuse and two bouts with colon cancer, Strawberry's story will instill hope in others and send a message that healing is possible.
KEITH CHANCEY, is the founder of the Kanakuk Institute. He is a visionary with a desire and passion to equip leaders to change the youth culture. Keith has devoted 30 years to youth ministry. He helped to pioneer the K-Life Ministries in the early 80s and spent eight years as K-Life director. He spent the next 14 years as the youth pastor of Denton Bible Church in Denton, Texas. During his time with K-Life and Denton Bible Church he continued to work at Kanakuk Kamps where he has been on staff since 1979.
