Simple Summer Entertaining Inspired by Local Georgia Ingredients
CLASS DESCRIPTION: August 24th is "Local Agriculture" day at Serenbe Farmers Market where local food producers will have their amazing food for sale. During this cooking class, you will learn how to create mouthwatering sips, dips and small bites inspired by these local producers and from produce grown at Serenbe Farms. Your guests will be blown away by these offerings at your next gathering. By the end of this class, you will know how to: 1. Create simple, flavor-infused drinks 2. Create a variety of dips using produce from Serenbe Farms 3. Create several small bites using local ingredients

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Ashley Ritchie is a Registered Dietitian and Professionally Trained Chef. You may have seen her giving cooking demonstrations at the Serenbe Farmers Markets. Her cooking style reflects the culinary training that she received at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in New York City, where she studied under some of the most talented and health-minded chefs in the United States. Ashley has worked at the Atlanta, Georgia non-profit Open Hand and social enterprise Good Measure Meals since 2006 where she creates recipes that are healthy and delicious. Ashley teaches cooking classes at various locations in the community, including regular classes at Cancer Support Community Atlanta. She is also a chef contributor for the local Atlanta organization Garnish & Gather.
