Singer-songwriter Maurice Tani with bassist Mike Anderson. Mining a rich vein of California Americana over the past decade, Tani has constructed a repertoire of "rye" humor and romantic rumination.
Misner & Smith are a gem of a musical pairing, offering a refreshing take on contemporary folk music. Their lovely harmonies and masterfully blended voices fit with in classic American traditions, and their songwriting and storytelling transport the listener to a world of their creation. The chemistry of their duets set them apart from the field. Megan Smith plays upright bass and mandolin while Sam Misner plays guitar.
