THE OCHRE HOUSE is pleased to announce the first show in its 2013-14 Season with the WORLD PREMIERE of a hilarious summer musical, BEST SEAT IN TOWN, written and directed by MATTHEW POSEY. It is THE OCHRE HOUSE'S sixth season and BEST SEAT IN TOWN is the perfect all original musical featuring THE OCHRE HOUSE Puppets from the COPPERTONE SERIES. Yes, they are back and ready to dance and sing their little corrupt hearts out.

SCOTTY MANKIN (KEVIN GRAMMER), a Chevy Impala salesman who sells cars to the Puppet Mafia, is having the worst day in his life. Scotty messed up with the Puppet Mafia and this fateful day he is trying to meet with the Ukrainian puppet Mob Boss, ABALONE SANVICH (MITCHELL PARRACK), to plead for his life. Eventually he gets lost in CHILITOWN, an insane part of town where the down and out half-made puppets live. It is on a corner in downtown CHILITOWN that Scotty learns his biggest lessons about love, life, and loss. Original music, dancing, life-size puppets, and hilarious situations create the insane world of CHILITOWN, as Scotty seeks the best seat in town.
