A Night With Day - Beverly Brennan's Tribute to Doris Day
Join Beverly Brennan and Rick Jensen on a sentimental journey as Bev pays tribute to one of her idols, the incomparable Doris Day. The show will feature songs from Doris Day's big band days, her movies and musicals, and her amazing recording career. Bev will also share stories about Doris's life, which has been far from a bed of daisies!  Hope to see you at our show. It's magic! And if you can't make it -- Que Sera, Sera!

As Doris Day has been a lifelong animal welfare activist, any profits will be donated to The Humane Society of Missouri.

The Chapel is a not-for-profit music venue, performance space and art gallery with the aim of helping St. Louis position itself as a premier city for the arts and music.  Two complimentary drinks (beer, wine, soda) are included with the show and donated by friends of The Chapel.

Produced by Mariposa Artists.

Beverly Brennan became an overnight sensation with her solo cabaret debut in "St. Louie Woman" with sold out performances in St. Louis and Chicago in 2010.  Growing up on the Hill in St. Louis, Bev showcased her love of jazz and the blues along with paying tribute to her city and her dad, hall of fame sportscaster Jack Buck.  Beverly is Director of Speech and Theatre at Harris-Stowe State University and holds a Master and Bachelor of Fine Arts from Webster University.

Rick Jensen is certainly no stranger to the St. Louis cabaret scene.  The multi-talented singer, songwriter, director, and producer served as music director for many local cabaret performers and has starred in several sold-out solo performances in town.  Rick's compositions have become standards on the New York City Club circuit, garnering him critical praise and earning him six Manhattan Association of Cabaret and Clubs MAC Awards including "Tonight, New York City: The Rick Jensen Songbook," written, musical directed, and hosted by Rick Jensen, directed by Lina Koutrakos at the Metropolitan Room in New York (2012).
