Engage for Impact Summit
Washington Engage is hosting this Summit to underscore a new way of responding to Human Trafficking Collective Impact Partnerships. Nationally known Directors from FSG (Foundation Strategy Group) Fay Hanleybrown and Jeff Cohen who have vast experience in other complex social issues will be speaking and consulting attendees to launch this new way in their own community. There will be breakout sessions throughout the day and an award for the Partnership of the Year. A continental breakfast and lunch are served for all registered attendees.
Bios: Fay currently leads FSG's Seattle office and Collective Impact approach area. She has advised a variety of clients, including private foundations, community foundations, private corporations, and nonprofits across a range of critical issues including education, global development, community philanthropy, and corporate social responsibility. Recent clients include the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Microsoft, The Ford Family Foundation, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the Community Center for Education Results. She has also led a number of engagements focused on designing and launching cross-sector collaborations. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA, magna cum laude, from Princeton University. Jeff Cohen has more than ten years of experience advising private and community foundations, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and corporations on strategy, program design, and evaluation.Jeff has led a variety of engagements encompassing strategic planning, education program strategy, evaluation, business planning, and program development. He spends much of his time working on U.S. education issues.He holds an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management; he is an F.C. Austin Scholar; and holds an MA from Yale University in Classics; Harvard College, BA,magna cum laude in Classics.
