BREASTS: A Natural & Unnatural History with author Florence Williams
Williams' research brought her from a plastic surgeon's office where she learned about the importance of cup size in Texas to a lab where she discovers the presence of environmental toxins in her own breast milk. She will be our guide as we explore the organ throughout its life cycle - from puberty to the changes it undergoes during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and menopause.
General Admission Ticket: $25 7:00 PM Talk with Q & A Book Signing Follows - Hardcover & Paperback copies of Breasts: A Natural & Unnatural History will be on sale. Proceeds benefit the Maine Women's Lobby.
Preferred Seating & Private Reception: $50 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM at the Dowling Walsh Gallery Includes admission to a private reception with Florence Williams and preferred seating at The Strand. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.
