Self-Defense for Women and Trans Communities
Self-defense is everything we do to protect and take care of ourselves. Anyone can do self-defense. You don't have to be physically strong, or fast. You don't need any experience.
Self-defense includes prevention, avoidance, setting boundaries, physical techniques, getting support and healing from violence. You will learn to use your body and mind to protect yourself.
Ruckus Safety Awareness has been teaching self-defense in New York and Japan since 1993. We strive to create a safe learning space where you will gain skills as well as have fun.
