J-MUSIC LIVE VIEWING 2013 in LA: girugämesh returns with glory, "CHIBA"
On February 5th 2011, girugamesh held their first hall one man live called "girugamesh returns with glory, "CHIBA"" in Ichikawa City Cultural Hall
Satoshi (vocals), Nii (guitar), ShuU (bass) and Ryo (drums) form girugamesh. Their hard guitar riffs, powerful rhythms and electronics combined with melodic vocals make them one of the most interesting and innovative rock bands around. After forming in 2003 and playing gigs on the Tokyo club scene, they quickly gained a reputation for their energetic live shows, building up a strong fanbase. Their first official single, "Kaisern Sengen," reached number 10 on the Japanese indie charts.
Over the next two years, the band toured heavily. By the end of 2006, they released their successful debut album, "13th Reborn." In 2007, the band began activities in Europe and the United States by performing at the J-Shock Festival in Cologne, Germany, Jrock Revolution in Los Angeles and the Asian/Pacific Week in Berlin, Germany. January 2008 would see the band's first European tour with stops in France, UK, Scandanavia and Germany.
