Spring is celebrated in Tokyo, where violinist Sayaka Shoji teaches little ones about their music and culture. Summer finds us in Australia, where the ebullient Niki Vasilakis gather friends from all over her country to play a special show in the far north for the Thursday Island community. As the leaves fall, we're in New York City with Cho-Liang Lin and his neighbors. Finally, and most spectacularly, winter finds us in icy Finnish Lapland, where the charismatic Pekka Kuusisto and his colleagues play music for their small community. The originality of the film's premise and the fantastic music, scenery and personalities will make you feel like you've just been on four wondrous journeys.
Preceded by Ziggy's Fan, a four minute short film about Australia's #1 David Bowie fan!
