Carts and a Cold One - EVENT CANCELED
Ninkasi Brewing Company's patio will be filled with food carts, kegs of beer, an all female sax quartet, and revelers like you. The local food carts are a fantastic group. We've signed up the The Golden Goose, Raw Luv, PizzAldo, The Gastronomad, Cousin Jack's Pasty Company and Vanilla Jill's Soups and Scoops. Our music is by the The Quadraphones, an all female saxophone quartet. Their music has been described as "enticing, exciting and sometimes as sexy as New Orleans music can get." We are happy to announce our master of ceremonies for the day is Tom Heinl.
Each cart will create a dish that highlights locally grown produce and pairs with one of the Ninkasi beers. Price of admission gets you a small plate from each vendor with the appropriate Ninkasi pairing.
We've included some in your face competition for the carts. You get to judge which cart provides the best tastes. We will count up your votes and give a prize to the winner.
We anticipate this event to sell out. Buy your ticket in advance for $18.00 or at the door for $20.00 per ticket.
What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Come celebrate summer at the excellent Carts And A Cold One at Ninkasi Brewing Company. The event should be just what gorgeous summer weather calls for, an evening of suds sipping, food nibbling, a band playing, and good times. Your participation supports programs such as the School Garden Project and the Farm To School Program.
