Wanda & The Wave
Public Works Theatre Company presents their first production, "Wanda & the Wave"
A giant wave looms over the home of Wanda. "Drip-drop!" she scolds the wave, as she goes about her daily life with her dog Bones, not realizing that the wave is a companion who loves her. Told through puppetry, "Wanda & The Wave" is a whimsical allegory about appreciating the world around us.
The audience will have the opportunity to "meet" and interact with the puppets and performers.
Adapted by Sondra Blanchard from the children's book "The Old Woman & The Wave" by Shelley Jackson, and created in collaboration with Shoshana Bass. Original score composed and performed live by Brian Mullins.
