| Description |
"Five By Design", regarded as one of the nation's leading performing arts and symphony pops attractions, will return to the VAPAS stage with their newest show "Stay Tuned." Drawing upon the songs of Rosemary Clooney, Bobby Darin, and Henry Mancini, "Stay Tuned" is "Five By Design's" television variety show musical. From top hits to cool riffs, from classic skits to comedy bits, "Five By Design" will take you back to the days of the small screen legends. This musical journey through the early days of television is full of memorable songs, commercials, and sketches. Don't touch that dial! "Five By Design" will tune in to The Dinah Shore Show, Perry Como's Kraft Music Hall, and Milton Berle's Texaco Star Theatre featuring those television pioneers who came from vaudeville, radio, motion pictures, classical music, and Broadway. Remember Sh-Boom, More, Hey There, and Papa Loves Mambo? "Stay Tuned" is an affectionate glimpse into American culture from 1950 to 1966. It's sure to bring back lots of memories!
