Description
LeGacy Productions is proud to present Budd Schulberg's stage version of his 1954 Best Picture Winner "On the Waterfront" at the historic Nevada Theatre, 401 Broad St, Nevada City August 8th thru 24th.
An excellent 20 member cast recreates the riveting story of Terry Malloy (unforgettably portrayed by Marlon Brando in his first Best Actor win), an ex prize fighter, turned street thug under the tutelage of his older brother Charley & syndicate boss Johnny Friendly. Great acting by LeGacy veterans Alvis LeGate (Terry Malloy),Bruce Kelly (Johnny Friendly), and Thomas Wolfe (Fr. Pete Barry), along with  LeGacy newcomers Megan Sweigert (Edie Doyle), Andrew Kerr (Charley Malloy) & Robert Rossman (Fr. Vincent O'Mara)
