The Ghastly Love of Johnny X

This retro-tastic, rock 'n' roll, sci-fi musical introduces us to intergalactic hoodlum Johnny X and his band of extraterrestrial juvenile delinquents, The Ghastly Ones. Exiled from their homeworld to that most uncool of hangouts, the planet Earth, Johnny and his cats try to make the best of it. Things change, though, when Johnny's fed-up main squeeze steals his Resurrection Suitan alien device capable of controlling other people's bodies. And when a down-on-his-luck rock 'n' roll promoter needs the suit to reanimate his main act, a suddenly deceased hip-shaker named Mickey O'Flynn, the chase is on. This song-lined tribute to old-school drive-in B-movies is crowded with cult stars, including Will Keenan (Tromeo and Juliet), Creed Bratton ("The Office"), Reggie Bannister (Phantasm), Kevin McCarthy (Invasion of the Body Snatchers) and singer-songwriter Paul Williams.
