Zumbathon for Explorit
Join us for 2 hours of heart pumpin' Zumba cardio fun to support science education in our community! Ingrid, Sarah, and Alex will give you a Zumbathon unlike any other you've seen. The room will be dark (with club style lighting to get you ready to move) so you can feel comfortable at whatever your level is!
The Explorit Science Center in Davis, Ca has been providing high quality hands on science education enrichment for 17 counties in Northern California for over 30 years.
This non-profit provides outreach programs for schools as well as on site programs that are designed to ignite and foster curiosity about science and nature and inspire the future generations of scientists and great thinkers.
Have your children ever gone to a family science night at their school? It was most likely put on by the nice people at Explorit!
We Zumba for the American Heart Association, We Party in Pink for Breast Cancer, Zumbathons for diabetes and many other diseases and health problems. BUT think about what impact science education has. WHAT IF there are no organizations, like Explorit, to inspire and foster that sense of curiosity in children? We need places like Explorit to ignite that passion for science in children so they grow up searching for answers to societies problems and those kids will be the ones who fine cures for cancer and make medical breakthroughs!
