L'incoronazione di Poppea
dell'Arte Opera Ensemble celebrates its tenth season of summer productions with passionate stories of Rome in turmoil. Come hear the Sebastians Baroque Ensemble and a cast of young debut artists burn down the city at the East 13th Street Theatre. Sung in Italian with English supertitles. This production features Greer Davis, Kate Howell, Alison Cheeseman, Hans Tashjian and Edwin Vega. It is directed by Victoria Crutchfield, with costumes by Nina Bova and lighting by Scott Schneider.
dell'Arte's mission is to foster the careers of emerging opera artists through free training and performance opportunities, while bringing high quality, affordable productions to New York City stages.
