Called "audaciously original" by The Moscow Times, Café Antarsia Ensemble performs nouveau gypsy music with roots in Greek blues, Arabic percussion and Americana cabaret. Brisco's hauntingly urgent melodies are complemented by Margraff's panoramic and portrait-driven lyrics. Margraff has been named "a singular voice" byThe Brooklyn Rail, and a "powerful voice in contemporary American theatre..." (The Telegraph, INDIA).
