Taming of the Shrew

The fair Padua Trailer Park, located in sunny San Ramon, CA., is truly the most magical place on earth. It's springtime here at the park and like the flowers, love is in bloom, but not if Katherine Minola has anything to say about it. Being the most shrewd and froward woman in all of the park is no easy task, but Katherine has a gift for it, and when she wants to be left alone, it's going to happen.

When the charming and charismatic Petruchio from the neighboring Verona Trailer Park comes knocking, he sets his sights on Katherine. What is an independent (to a fault) woman to do? Why, fight him every step of the way! It will take every trick up Petruchio's sleeves to woo and wed this shrew!

TAAC is proud to present it's second show of it's 2013 season, William Shakespeare's 'Taming of the Shrew'! Set in a Trailer Park, this adaptation adds a new level of zany to this classic kind of, sort of love story. With a stage complete with a trailer, beer, cigarettes, and a trucker hat or two, no one's funny bone is safe!
