This April, the William Way LGBT Community Center and Delaware Valley Legacy Fund will host a reception in Mt. Airy for LBTI women and allies. This event is intended to engage more women, especially those from Mt. Airy and the surrounding suburbs, with the work of each organization.
The reception will take place at The Albatross, located in the historic Tulpehocken section of Northwest Philadelphia. The lovely mansion was built in 1889 by Joseph Perot and was home to Dr. Martin Brumbaugh, former superintendent of the Philadelphia schools and Pennsylvania's 26th governor.
Includes a buffet brunch, open wine and beer bar, and live music.
All proceeds equally benefit the William Way LGBT Community Center's ongoing Women's programs and the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund's grants and scholarships for women.
