FanTastic! A 4-Week Fan Dance Primer with Indigo Blue
The Academy of Burlesque is excited to bring back our popular Fan Dancing Series!
In this 4 week course, you will work with Indigo Blue, 2011 Reigning Queen of Burlesque, to learn the ins and outs. From small fans to extra large Sally Rand feather fans, learn methods and choreography specific to each type, as well as basic fan construction, and embellishment techniques!
The class is 2.5 hours, including 1 hour of open lab in West Hall!
We have a limited number of fans available for rental if you do not have your own. Rental rate is $10 (used sets) - $40(unused sets) per class. We also have 2 pairs of Sally Rand fans available for purchase at $325! Please contact us ahead of time if you wish them for the first class. We can also help you order fans at a discounted rate!
