Level 2 beer, 'off-flavor', sensory training session
This class is designed to be a round table tasting and discussion of off-flavors for individuals who have taken the level 1, initial, off-flavor class with Pat and Drew. Pat and Drew will be at the table tasting and facilitating the seminar as opposed to simply instructing. We will be tasting each of 24 off-flavors in three different styles of beer, because off-flavors can present differently in different beers. We will also present the off-flavors at a much lower concentration than in the level 1 class. This class is designed for individuals interested in higher level certifications and those wanting a deep understanding of beer faults.
There will only be 12 people in total in this class (this includes Pat and Drew). As a round table, this collaborative seminar with facilitated conversation and doesn't have a time limit. We will take as long as everyone would like. Expect no less than 4 hours so don't come hungry.
