Theatre del Mar- Presents the Films of James D. Dilworth
After the successful 12-12-12 showing of his films, prolific Reno author, artist, performer, musician, and educator James D. Dilworth and SEJDB present Theatre Del Mar in March. The films presented at Theater Del Mar will include Zephyr, Hygiene, How to Be an Artiste, How to Make Tea, a Holland Project Three Minute Movie finalist, Daisy, and previews of upcoming films by SEJDB and James D. Dilworth.
Zephyr, is a short film based on text from Roughing It by Mark Twain and has images of trees and wind, with a twist at the end. Hygiene is an homage to the mental hygiene films of the 1940s through 1970s, and gives its viewer tips to have superior personal hygiene. How to Make Tea, a Holland Project Three Minute Movie finalist, gives the viewer a three minute crash course in how to make the perfect cup of tea, every time. How to Be an Artiste, Dilworth's longest film to date, shows you how to be creative and make art in four very different ways. And, Daisy, is a romantic short film about a woman, a man, his dog, and a children's book.
"Film is a collaborative art and can only be completed with the efforts of many skilled people, working together.", said Dilworth. "I am excited to show my films publicly. I hope that more people will create and show their films in public, where they should be seen."
Theatre Del Mar will be seen for two showings only- March 23, 2013, at 2 pm, doors open at 1:30 pm at Musicians Rehearsal Center, 587 Dunn Cir, Sparks, NV 89431, and March 30, 2013, at 8 pm, doors open at 7:30 pm, at Goodluck Macbeth Theater, 119 N Virginia St Reno, NV 89501, in the Midtown district of Reno, Nevada.
