Beggars Banquet: a fundraiser for The Wilbury Theatre Group
The Wilbury Theatre Group's Board of Directors invite you to our 1st annual fundraising party, on Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m. in our performance space at Trinity Theater at the Southside Cultural Center, 393 Broad Street, Providence.
In a nod to our upcoming production of "The Threepenny Opera" based on "The Beggars Opera" by John Gay (and one of our favorite Stones' albums), we're inviting our supporters to come let loose with "The Beggars Banquet" on Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m. in our performance space at Trinity Theater at the Southside Cultural Center, 393 Broad Street, Providence.
We'll be transforming the Trinity Theater into London's underworld, complete with food, drink, games, and live music by Providence rockers Bad Jack, Rhode Island's Ukulele Armada and Wilbury favorite Dave Tessier and his All-Star Band of Wilburys past and present. All MC-ed by Rhode Island actress and news personality Kim Kalunian!
Show your support for the newest theatre in Providence, and help us further establish the city, and all of Rhode Island, as a major force in the arts on the national stage! Mingle with all your favorite artists from the Wilbury stage, participate in our raffles and silent auction, and enjoying drinks and hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants, bars & breweries like The Avery, Longtrail Brewing Company, Sons of Liberty, Narragansett Brewing Co. and more!

All proceeds from The Wilbury Group's Beggars Banquet benefit the non-profit theatre's artistic and educational programs and help further establish The Wilbury Theatre Group as a new professional theatre company in Providence.
