Fused Muse Ensemble
An evening of music and mixed media given by exceptional artists from the Chicago-based group, Fused Muse Ensemble. Classical, folk, jazz and Latin American music will combine with modern dance, theater, poetry, visual art, and videography.
Themes to be explored will range from the tragic (entrapment, loss, rejection) to transformation (renewal, sanctuary, acceptance) to a celebration of the transformative qualities of the human spirit (perseverance, faith, playfulness, imagination, courage).
In collaboration with CAASE (Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation) and CMBWN (Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women's Network).
At 7pm, there will be a 30 minute pre-show reception with wine and snacks, featuring artwork and poetry by local groups, Buy Art Not People and The Voice and Faces Project.
