Architecture 101: Windows on Seattle's Style
Is God really in the details? Find out as we focus on design elements of buildings ranging from English Gothic to Brutalism and from Beaux Arts to Modernism. See the city in a new light by focusing on the construction, context and culture which shaped our skyline.
NOTE: Tour starts at SAF Gallery, 1333 Fifth Avenue, Suite 300, Seattle, WA 98101. We are located in the Rainier Square Atrium, on the third level.
Tour lasts approximately two hours. SAF members always receive discounts on all ticketed programs. $15 general admission in advance / $25 day of. Advance purchase is highly recommended; spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All tours are conducted rain or shine. Tour participants are responsible for their own personal safety. Most routes involve hills, stairs, escalators, and elevators. This tour is not recommended for children under age 12.
