A Taste of Spring
The Alameda Social Club and Chef John Thiel of Pappo invite you to join us for an evening celebrating food, wine, music and the first day of Spring. Chef John will use the inspiration of Spring and its new harvest to create four culinary presentations for you to enjoy. Be prepared to be amazed as Chef John digs into his bag of tricks and displays the talents that have earned Pappo 'Best of Alameda' Best Chef, and Best Restaurant winner year after year.
These new creations would be amazing on their own but Chef John is elevating the experience by pairing each item with one of his Thiel Family Wines. Guests will enjoy the following four wines:
Chateauneuf -du- Pappo
Old Vine Zinfandel
To round out the evening we are adding the perfect complement to the food and wine, live music from Andrew Blair and his band We Became Owls. They will perform two sets making A Taste of Spring a complete experience.

*A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Alameda Food Bank in an effort to help kick off their Spring Fling Fundraiser.
