About the East Bay Children's Theatre:
EBCT is the oldest continuously performing theatre group in the San Francisco Bay Area. Established in 1933, EBCT is a non-profit organization supported by over 45 active volunteers.
Productions strive to highlight important moral lessons that promote positive values and strengthen the self-esteem of children.
Each year we perform for the general public in the spring to raise funds to bring our program to under served elementary schools in Oakland and surrounding East Bay schools free of charge.
Approximately 5,000 elementary school children (pre-K through grade 5) each year will be inspired and entertained during our visits to their schools.
