Shining thru the Rain.
Portland composer Gordon Lee presents an evening of chamber music and jazz at
the Old Church 1422 SW 11th Ave, Portland, OR on Wed Mar 20th 7:30pm, $15.
This unique concert will feature the world premiere of 3 pieces: "Fireflies, Heat Lightning and Stars" with the Amedei Cello Quartet; Viola Sonata #3 with Adam La Motte and Janet Coleman; and a Jazz Piano Concerto for the Mel Brown Septet with Lee as soloist. Come hear this exciting concert that continues American music's grandest tradition, the merging of jazz and classical music, composed by Gordon Lee, one of Portland's most creative jazz pianists.
