THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST
A classic Oscar Wile's comedy that takes place in the 1890's in London. John Worthington is known as Ernest by his friends in London and as Jack by his rual friends and relatives in Hertfordshire. Jack falls in love with Gwendolen who is obessed with the name "Ernest." Jack faces several obstacles with Lady Bracknell who objects to his in ability to define his family background. He is discovered by Algernon that he is leading a double life and that Jack is the guarding of pretty Cecily. Algernon visits Jack's house in the country and identifies himself as "Ernest" and falls in love with Cecily. Find out what happens when the two women discover the men that they are in love with are not being earnest!
