Event
SEVEN April 13 8pm AND April 14 1pm
TIKVAH company of artists, an ensemble of dancers, actors and musicians will provoke thought and enhance hope with the well crafted SEVEN conceived from seven verbs common to the human condition - appreciate, endure, wait, grieve, listen, trust, journey.
Award-winning Artist-Educator, Modern Dance Choreographer and DePaul Adjunct Professor Lin Batsheva Kahn seamlessly integrates modern dance, narrative and poetic text. With an eclectic range of music from Bach to Gershwin to James Taylor, four of the pieces will be performed live.
Talented performers from Chicago, Cleveland and New York will come together for this unique dance-theater experience in the beautiful DePaul Art Museum.
Kahn's inspiring choreography is not merely exquisite but spiritually uplifting. Alan Mendelsohn, Award-winning International Documentary Film Maker, Toronto
