LUPERCALIA was an ancient Roman holiday originally celebrated to purge evil spirits from the city in order to foster health, love & fertility among its people. Boston's Street Corner Society cordially invites you to their first annual revival of this festival with a late-night extravaganza featuring an eclectic roster of live, local musicians, strange feats of daring, and some of Boston's very best burlesque talent. So grab your lover(s), don your favorite goatskin, and don't be surprised if you end up suckling a she-wolf or two by night's end...let the champagne burn and the wolves howl loud...join us February 15th for LUPERCALIA 2013!
Public Entry to this event begins at 10:00 PM with entertainment and festivities commencing at 10:30 PM. Entry at Door on day of will be $25. Purchase tickets in advance to save.
STREET CORNER SOCIETY (SCS) is a Boston-based theater company specializing in experiences & adventures of an unusual, uncanny, or ritualistic nature.
