School Garden Champions: Creating Sustainable School Gardens
Whatever your role in supporting a school garden, you play a part in making it literally grow. From the buy-in of district and school administrators, to the support within schools of the teachers, facilities managers, nurse, food service program, students and parents, successful school gardens exist because of all the stakeholders involved. Outside the school, volunteers, local businesses, non-profits and universities all help to create sustainable school garden programming.
Learn what is being done by people who fill each one of these roles in this one-day, panel led discussion of what is working in New Jersey schools.
