| Description |
Big Dreams, Little Tokyo is a lovable and quirky comedy about two roommates, Boyd and Jerome, who live in Little Tokyo and seek out their life dreams. Writer/Director Dave Boyle plays Boyd, a white guy who would like nothing more than to be a successful Japanese businessman and acts more 'Japanese' than the Japanese Americans that he meets. Meanwhile, his roommate Jerome, is a Japanese American who has always felt too American to be Japanese but too Japanese to be American. He is an underweight sumo wrestler who constantly eats to gain weight to get into sumo school. Together they struggle to find their place in a world where cultural identity is seldom what it seems.
Also stars James Kyson Lee of NBC's "Heroes."
