Sensational Spring Fling
Please join your friends and FAMILY at the 10th Annual (!!!) Sensational Spring Fling!! This is a cosmic camping event of EPIC proportions. We have a GORGEOUS NEW LOCATION (plenty of room for camping and parking!) with sweet mountain scenery on the banks of the Catawba River only 30 miles EAST of Asheville, NC. Catwaba River Campground is easily accessible off Interstate 40 and Hwy 221 (coming from Boone) at 5399 Old Greenlee Rd Marion, NC 28752. Bring camping gear, food to share, drums and instruments, and good loving energy. Come prepared to stay on site for the duration from 4:20pm on Saturday, May 4th until 2pm on Sunday, May 5th. The SPIRAL shall swirl and swizzle ALL NIGHT LONG!! This crew doesn't stop dancing till well past dawn. The Fling has become a bit of an underground freak fest and we are blowing it all out for the 10th Annual Event!!!
After a long hiatus, JOSH PHILLIPS FOLK FESTIVAL returns to the Spring Fling and will show you why his organic style of roots music is so beloved by so many. Electric Soul Pandemic and Yesterdays Gravy have become definite fan favorites over the years. Considering their deep psychedelic grooves, we can see why and we are excited to have them back. Wave Lynx and Hi-Rollers are among the new acts on the bill. While their sounds are very different, both of them deserve their status as great up and coming bands in NC. Asian Teacher Factory is creating some of the weirdest trippiest sounds around so they are an obvious choice for this cosmic occasion. Imperial Blend serves as a fantastic segue way from funky live music to late night electronica, as ye shall see. Aligning Minds and DJ Bowie will reveal why they are among the biggest electronic artists in the 828 as they hold down the psychotropic scene late night. As you can see, we have tons of musical talent on board. This party is going to get WILD!!!
Gates open at 12 pm on Saturday, May 4th. Please do not arrive before then. Music
starts at 4:20pm and will roll (with a brief break) until 2pm on Sunday, May 5th.
Super cheap all inclusive (parking, camping, etc.) advance tickets are available for only $30 (!!!). Wristbands will be $40 at the gate (CASH ONLY). Early bird sales will end soon so save $ by buying NOW. No dogs, nitrous tanks, or fireworks allowed. PLEASE. We have had issues with these things in the past. Congratulations to "Bob" and Connie Dobbs. After all of these years, they are still our heroes. See you soon in The Magickal Mountains! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!
