Bowl for Kids' Sake (BFKS) will strike Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Big Spring Bowl-A-Rama, and we would love to have you participate! The first annual fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters Crossroads is about having fun and helping kids, with all money raised going directly toward matching more local children with professionally-supported, one-to-one mentors.
Studies have shown that children who have mentors are less likely to abuse drugs and alcohol, less likely to end up in the criminal justice system and more likely to stay in school. So, anyone who can "spare" a little time for fun and who cares about kids, will find BFKS "right up their alley." We encourage anyone and everyone to get involved as a team captain, bowler, sponsoror all three."
