Produced by high school students at the Fairfax Magnet Center for the Visual Arts, Los Angeles, California. Teens learn to put down their electronic and digital devices and enjoy interacting with each other.
BUSS DI DANCE (USA, 12 min., 49 sec.)
Produced by the youth of Downtown Community Television (DCTV), New York City: Terry Jones, Jr., Kendra Dennis, Amanda Rodriguez, Tiffany Vanderpool, Latel Bethea. A  look into the culture, style, and spirit of Caribbean dancehall music.
PROPHESY (USA, 14 min.) Director/Producer: Suprena Levy
A girl's lyrical mediation on her independence and her strained relationship with her single mother & other family.
SATISFACTION (USA,  8 min.)
Music video featuring stop-motion animation with household objects. Important note: This stop-motion animation film has a strobe or flashing effect and may cause seizures or other health related difficulties in some viewers. ADOPTED BY ALIENS (USA, 28 min.)
Adopted tells the story of Whitney Ward, an orphan who never expected that the love and acceptance she seeks would come from outer space. Filmmakers Shawnee and Shawnelle Gibbs will discuss filmmaking and Flash animation in an introductory workshop on Saturday, April 19 at 12:00 noon.
