Mystic Chorale - Gospel 2013
The Mystic Chorale, one of Boston's favorite choruses, presents its annual Gospel concert. 250+ voices strong, the chorale will give two joyful & spirit-filled concerts featuring an eclectic mix of music rooted in the African-American gospel tradition. An energizing program is planned with pieces by many noted gospel and inspirational composers including Sandra Crouch, Kirk Franklin and James Taylor. Also the chorale will perform a dynamic jazz setting of the gospel favorite Oh Happy Day by Edwin Hawkins. Don't miss this uplifting program led by award-winning Gospel director Jonathan Singleton!
