CURT CACIOPPO: A GALA OF PREMIERES
On Sunday, February 4 at 2:30 PM, four superb new works by award winning composer CURT CACIOPPO receive their New York City premieres at The Greene Space. The international team of performers joining the composer for this program includes pianist Charles Abramovic, oboist Jonathan Blumenfeld, bass-baritone Alexander Dobson, and mezzo-soprano Misoon Ghim. Together they present Cacioppos cycle of ITALIAN SONGS; the politically charged PIANO VARIATIONS ON HAIL TO THE CHIEF; FANTAISIE-SONATINE (SOUVENIRS DU LEVANT); and his BERNINI ELEGY.
This concert will be held in New York City at the Jerome L. Greene Performance Space located on the ground floor of 160 Varick Street.
