NAGANT
NAGANT is a chamber-folk ensemble living and working in Chicago, IL. It is the collaborative effort of composers Noah Harris (piano and voice) and Nathan Swanson (violins, viola and cello). The music draws from a broad base of classical, world, and western folk influence.
NAGANT will be releasing it's second album "The Writer Sits" at this concert on March 6th at the Chopin Theatre.

Jason Seed Stringtet
String players from the Milwaukee and Chicago Symphony Orchestras join guitarist-composer Jason Seed to form the Jason Seed Stringtet, which has been performing Jason's unique chamber music since 2007. The group formed alongside the Independent Music Award-winning Jason Seed Elixir Ensemble. The more intimate Stringtet now brings Seed's eclectic collection of classical crossover pieces for string chamber ensemble to a wider audience.
