Miseducation
Inspired by Lauryn Hill's album (with a twist), "Miseducation" takes place in the high-stakes performing arts industry, where image is everything and sex, drugs and bad relationships are frequently linked together.
A shady music manager challenges a group of students to examine their ideas about love, money, the media, respect and more. And we uncover the importance of having both common sense and good business ethics.
Through the eyes of youth, both in and out of the studio, we learn the significance of life's lessons. The question is: Which environment teaches us those vital lessons, the studio or the school of hard knocks?
Join us on this journey as we discover whether the students of the studio learn invaluable lessons about "the industry" versus "the streets." Should they decide which is better or are there valuable lessons to be learned from both?
