Shakespeare's 'The Two Gentlemen of Verona'
Each year the Brookline High School Drama Program kicks off with the unique take on Shakespeare. This year the Drama Society is presenting Shakespeare's 'The Two Gentlemen of Verona', a comedy about the adventures of two bosom buddies in 1960's Italy, Valentine and Proteus. When Proteus falls in love with his best friend's girlfriend, the guys find themselves torn between the bonds of male friendship and romance.
Directed by Mary Mastandrea, BHS Drama & English Teacher, the annual Shakespeare production is a community favorite and draws some of the largest audiences. Come see what the excitement is all about!
