Actor/director/singer/improviser extraordinaire Cristela Carrizales (Night Rhymers, The Ones Your Mother Warned You About, Off Book: Musical Morsels, Villain: The Musical) joins OKC Improv Artistic Directors Buck and Clint Vrazel. Relationships are the heart of improvisation, comedic or otherwise. Students will learn how to read themselves and their partners to ground their scenes with emotional authenticity. They will master status, character creation, straight/absurd dynamics, and a variety of tactics to heighten the moment and take their game to the next level. Students will be discover how to find the "game" of a scene and use the patterns that develop to actively play with and against the expectations of the audience. This class finishes with a student show and a post-show review class.
Prerequisite: Must have completed Level 1 or by permission of the instructors.
Class meets from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. each Saturday.
Class enrollment is limited to 12 students.
