Arts at Tenri Chamber Players
Koto and Shamisen virtuoso Yoko Reikano Kimura will perform a concert of classic and contemporary music for Japanese instruments. Joined by Cathleen Ayakano Read on koto, and James Nyoraku Schlefer on shakuhachi, this concert will present two Edo period trios from the Yamada school (Sarashi and Miyako no Haru) as well as exciting 20th and 21st Century music for koto, shamisen and shakuhachi.
