Snap on 2&4 w/ Pat Coil
Join us Friday, January 11 at 8pm as sensational pianist and composer Pat Coil returns to the Jazz Cave and kicks off our 2013 Snap on 2&4 Season!

Born in Jefferson City, Missouri, Pat is an extremely accomplished pianist, composer, producer, arranger, programmer, as well as a highly respected studio musician. If you watch television, listen to the radio, or go to the movies, you have heard Pat and some form of his music.

Pat has toured Japan, South America, Europe and the U.S. with such artists as Michael McDonald, Carmen McCrae, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Woody Herman and many others. Pat has recorded with many artists including Natalie Cole, Trisha Yearwood, Ernie Watts, Carmen McCrae, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Travis Tritt, Peter Cetera, Woody Herman, Scott Henderson and Michael McDonald. His talent spans the musical spectrum of pop, jazz, R&B, gospel, country

Living now in Nashville with his wife and children, Pat continues his successful career composing, recording, performing, producing and arranging. He has composed, produced and performed on hundreds of underscores heard on a variety of media all over the world. Pat also teaches jazz piano, combos, and improvisation at Middle Tennessee State University, and is a member of the jazz faculty.

Pat has recorded six solo jazz albums of his own, the third one being a collaboration with Lyle Mays. "True North" and his new album "Birdhouse" are available at patcoil.com and cdbaby.com.

Joining Pat for this special show will be a great sextet featuring Mark Douthit (saxophone), Danny O'Lannerty (bass), and Danny Gottlieb (drums).

The group will perform two sets, beginning at 8pm, and admission is $20 for adults / $10 Students with ID.

Advance purchase is highly recommended. Tickets go on sale Monday, December 31 at 10 am, online or by phone at 800-838-3006 (24/7).  A small convenience charge is added to online or 800-number purchases.

Tickets will also be available after January 2 by phone during business hours at the Workshop at 615-242-5299.

Seating is reserved. Management will assign best available seating. If you have particular seating preferences we'll do our best to accommodate. Seating requests can be made online or by phone. (You can indicate a preference in the "Questionnaire" box when checking out.) Seating is a combination of 4-person tables and bar stools. SEE BELOW FOR A VENUE MAP. Parties of less than four may be seated at tables with other patrons.

Policies: The Jazz Cave is a BYOB establishment, with no alcohol or food service. You are free to bring alcoholic beverages and snacks. We sell soft drinks and bottled water. The Jazz Cave is a listening room, and we ask patrons to keep conversation to a minimum and silence cell phones.
