VT Rail Action Network Annual Dinner
Please join us for Vermont Communities By Rail: Vermont Rail Action Network's Annual Dinner & Awards Celebration, on Wednesday, November 8th from 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. at the Southside Steakhouse in Rutland.
With planned extensions of Amtrak lines in Vermont to Burlington and Montreal, and recent news about regional rail service that will connect Vermont cities and towns with convenient daily service for commuters, there is much to celebrate. Featured speakers will include Gov. Phil Scott, NARP President Jim Mathews, and AllEarth Rail's Charlie Moore.
Join us for an evening of networking and fun with delicious food, live jazz music, and awards. Come raise a glass to the coming Golden Age of passenger rail in Vermont!
TRAVEL TO THE ANNUAL DINNER BY TRAIN!
We encourage everyone traveling to the event from north of Rutland to arrive by rail. We have booked a special excursion train to transport dinner guests from Burlington to Rutland. Check our Facebook page for departure towns, schedules and other updates. (The cost of your train ticket to & from the event is included!)
