North Idaho Enological Society October 2017 Tasting
NIES kicks off the 36th season of fabulous wine tasting on October 20, 2017.
Fifty years ago, a tiny winery called Ste. Michelle Vineyards introduced its first vintage of European-style premium wine. It was the release that inspired todays thriving Washington wine industrynow home to nearly 1,000 wineries and 14 AVAs.
As Chateau Ste.Michelle celebrates their 50th anniversary we are fortunate to have Joe Gore, from CSM, present their luscious wines for our tasting. He will talk about their past 50 years and some of the special projects CSM is involved in. It should a fun and educational evening.
Tasting fees are $22 members and $30 guests. Deadline for reservations is October 10.
