Chris Ho | CD Release Party w/ Good For Grapes
Since the successful release of his previous EP, Chris Ho has toured across Canada by train, composed for the Victoria and Vancouver Fringe Festivals, and received airplay through CBC Radio 1 and 3. Now ready to take the next step, the Victoria-based singer-songwriter will be releasing his debut LP, 'City Of Dust' on January 18th, 2013.
Although the LP stays fairly true to the folk-pop sentimentality of the 'Answers' EP, it is both progressively eclectic and unified. "Chris Ho is an artist proficient in two distinct classes. Like a college student who painstakingly trudges through a double-major program, so does Ho in his musical ability. The joining factor of his duality is his relative genre-ambiguity. You get the impression that he could very well be a 21st century Paul Simon crossed with John Lennon." - Music Emissions
