Piano Concert

Dual Japanese Classical Concert Pianists will perform seven piano pieces for four hands pieces featuring Gershwins "Rhapsody in Blue" and Latin music, including work(s) by Piazzolla accompanied by the a percussionist. Address of the private residence in Scripps Ranch will be sent upon purchase of ticket. Seating is limited. Elegancia Doble:
Naomi Hobbs, is an award winning pianist, arranger and composer who earned her degree in piano performance in Tokyo, Japan. She was the instructor of San Diego Community College continuing education. She won first place in the International Piano Competition in Mexico in 2012 and a gold medalist award winner in the Seattle International Piano Competition in 2015.
Yumiko Oya received her Master's Degree in Piano Performance from the California Institute of the Arts. She has performed with a local orchestra as a soloist. She has been teaching piano privately as well as playing piano in concerts.
As a piano duo, Elegancia Doble won first place in the Japan Musicians Association Piano Competition 2016 in Los Angeles, California.
